4.0 out of 5 stars Loved It!, February 20, 2010

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Length:: 3:12 Mins

Absolutely loved this book! I bought it after attending a PR Workshop in San Francisco featuring Jill Lubin (one of the books co-authors). I thought the workshop was awesome and immediately headed home to buy the book on Amazon.

As a business consultant, I excel in alot of areas including marketing and sales, but what I didn't know about was Publicity. This book is excellent for the business owner, author or publishing company that needs to develop and get out media kits, and secure radio interviews. The book is reasonably priced and has over 300 pages of information.

5.0 out of 5 stars This Book Can Change Your Mindset & Attitude!, December 5, 2008
This review is from: Guerrilla Publicity: Hundreds of Sure-Fire Tactics to Get Maximum Sales for Minimum DollarsIncludes Podcasts, Blogs, and Media Training for the Digital Age (Paperback)
Many people would like to delegate the whole publicity area to someone else. They hire a "publicist" for a season or set an advertising budget. With a different mindset and attitude, you can reach more people with less of a financial investment.

As the authors explain in the introduction, "Most people don't know the value publicity adds to their businesses or how to implement it." You can learn the basic skill of relationship building from these authors who write, "Guerilla publicity works best for small- to mid-level businesses and provides the widest exposure at the lowest price--and it costs far less than advertising and can produce better results. Publicity lets you tell your story in greater depth than advertising, which is crucial for new and unique enterprises."

Each chapter of this book contains many insights and critical steps for anyone to build a presence in today's marketplace with the latest cost-effective techniques. Get this book and study each page because it will give you the edge that you need to stand out and succeed.

5.0 out of 5 stars EXCELLENT!, January 31, 2011
This review is from: Guerrilla Publicity: Hundreds of Sure-Fire Tactics to Get Maximum Sales for Minimum DollarsIncludes Podcasts, Blogs, and Media Training for the Digital Age (Paperback)
I love how this book has everything in it that covers free to paid publicity of your brand! I am glad this book found me
it's the Law of Attraction at work cause I got this book on clearance at the closing of a bookstore. I was only there looking
for books to buy related to marketing and advertising a self brand and this one was staring at me. The moment I picked up the
book I opened to the middle of this 300+ page book and started reading about PodCasting. This book explained ways to
market to the public and radio shows online to help you get yourself noticed. It's packed with real life tips and website resources
of Press Releases and Scripts. I highly recommend this book to entrepreneurs who want to learn about promoting your brand
on a budget. I already promoted this book and it's resources to my clients and I joined GMarketing.com for it's newsletters and training videos!
If you get this book take it seriously and join Jay Levinson's website and read the blog. The training online is free so you have so much
to gain..Knowledge of Publicity!
