I just bought Guess by Marciano and I really enjoy it. There's something about this cologne that makes me want to constantly take a whiff of it on myself. I see it as a cologne that anyone could appreciate being around. I bought this as a blind buy based on reviews from numerous sites. I see it working best as an evening or fall/winter scent. Mature but not "old man-ish" in any way. Warm and inviting yet spicy and fresh too.

I tested this cologne at the counter and I liked it. The scent was sweet, spicy, and woody. Amazon's price is cheaper so I purchased a bottle. You can't go wrong with Guess Marciano as an everyday/casual cologne, especially in the colder season (Fall/Winter) -- strong in the opening; the sillage is average; unfortunately, it doesn't last long on my skin, and I have to re-apply at the middle of the day as the scent stays very close to the skin as the hours go by. For the price I got, I can't complain.

I like the cologne, and purchased another one as a gift for my teenager nephew.

BUYERS BEWARE: make sure you pick "Amazon" as the seller before checking out. Amazon's price was about $25 for 100ml when I purchased the first two bottles, and they smelled authentic. The third bottle I purchased was from FragnanceNet for $19+ including shipping.. I thought I got a good deal but I received a poor bottle -- the scent was weird, which shouts old and fake.

The second I smelled this cologne on an ad from a GQ magazine, I could not get enough of it. It's just a really pleasant smell, not too strong, and does not leave an alcoholic scent you initially get sometimes from perfumes. I bought it just for me because I knew this is something I would enjoy smelling on myself at all times. It happens to be that I have gotten numerous compliments and quite a few individuals actually stuffing their noses in my clothing to get a good whiff. The price certainly seems worth it.
