I chose this jack-in-the-box because of the furry, friendly looking rabbit with its connection to the lovely story. But I am very disappointed that after only a few weeks of use, the music doesn't play. The crank turns, but no music and consequently, the rabbit doesn't pop up! What a waste!

I bought this for my grandchild for Easter. It is a well-made and very pretty jack-in-the-box. It was easy for a two year old to crank, although help was needed to reset the bunny. Great interactive toy. A classic!

I love the idea of the jack-in-the-box, but find some of the more traditional ones to be a little creepy looking. This one is so cute, and I love how it ties in with one of my daughter's favorite books. She really likes it a lot!

My Granddaughter received this for Christmas and she loved it until it quit working. It won't play music and open any more! She was heartbroken. Very disappointing.

I love, love, love the words written around the box, "Guess how much I love you. I love you as high as I can reach. I love you right up to the moon. Big Nutbrown Hare leaned over and kissed him goodnight." So sweet. The bunny is just adorable and very soft. The music is just perfect. It isn't a very sturdy or heavy box but our intent when buying this item wasn't to be used as a toy but as a keepsake for our new baby due in May! I hope that it holds up for our big gender reveal in just seven days as we are going to attach a flag with the baby's gender to the rabbit's hand. But as far as working and softeness and words, I love it!

Must have popped it at least 100 times already and still working good. The only complaint is very minor. It does not "pop" that hard. That might be a good thing for some so it is super gentle for little babies, but I wanted a bigger pop.

My daughter is two and my wife was looking for a jack-in-the-box for her and this was the one she chose. I don't think it would withstand the daily "exposure" to boys 3-4 yrs old. The box is constructed of relatively thin sheet metal and seems like it would dent easily. My daughter is pretty kind to most of her toys and she's still made a small dent in the side of the box. It's no big deal. She has a hard time getting a grip on it while she's turning the knob. Since the toy is light for its size, it moves around a lot when she's working the lever. We generally hold down on of the corners to keep it still so that she can get an even crank on the knob. I like that this is a rabbit instead of a clown or a monkey... not too creepy. She really loves the bunny and still acts surprised when it pops out.

Got it for my daughter and it doesn't pop up like it is suppose to, It is hard to put in the box, and it makes a horrible grinding sound when it is turning.
