A twist on the classic game of 20 Questions, this two-player guessing game requires young movie buffs to uncover their opponent’s mystery Disney character. Each player gets a game board with 24 slotted frames into which players fit the included cards, each picturing a different Disney personality. Players flip the frames up so opponents can see all the faces and then choose a mystery card, featuring the secret character. Players take turns asking "yes" or "no" questions (such as "Does your person have black hair?" or "Does your person have a mustache?") to deduce who the mystery person is. As kids eliminate characters without the determined attributes, it becomes easier to venture a guess. Characters are pretty equally divided between males (such as Mowgli and Hercules) and females (such as Snow White and Mary Poppins) so both boys and girls will discover many of their favorites and enjoy playing the game. Children practice their observation, memory, and communication skills while having fun. --Cristina Vaamonde

Product Description

There's a mystery Disney character on your opponent's card. Can you find that matching face in the crowd? Start with a game board full of suspects. Then ask the right questions to eliminate the wrong faces! Once you're down to a face or two...solve the case by guessing who! Are they sleepy all of the time? No. Do they wear a crown? Yes. Now you can flip down all the faces of characters who are not wearing a crown! Guess your opponent's mystery person before your opponent guesses yours to win!For 2 players, ages 6 and up.

Our family loves guess who and are avid Disney fans!! this game is a great combo for us. My daughter loved the characters and that there were just as many females as males since in the original there is definately more males and makes for unfair play if you draw a female. The game takes a while to put together the first time, the cards are flimsy and difficult to get into the slots. It probably took my thirty minutes to put the thing together, but it is a great family game. If you kids do not know the characters, it may be difficult for them to play. Guess who is a great educational game that teaches process of eliminiation and proper phrasing of questions, her first grade teacher told me it is one of the best games to play for memory development, plus it's a quick game that doesn't take hours to play.

The original Guess Who game is my five-year-old son's favorite game, but he doesn't seem to like this one quite as much. The pros: the same easy game to play, inexpensive. The cons: the pictures are smaller, the cards are smaller, the cards fall out of their holders (but this is true in the original game), cheap construction. As an educator, I am particularly disappointed that the chosen characters don't have enough attributes for the guessing part to be engaging or to help kids build skills. Without enough attributes it is hard to throw the occasional game - although I rarely have to take a fall because my son can beat me fair and square most of the time. Also, it seems as if the characters were picked at random and not typical Disney favorites. Get this if you want a change from the original, but don't be suprised if it doesn't live up to your expectations.

If you're looking for a toy that actually works like the original "Guess Who", don't waste your money. Despite carefully assembling the toy (snapping out, clicking on the "flip up" card holders; inserting cards by "threading" through the plastic holders), the toy does not function as it should.

The plastic holders stick, and when pulled - gently - to unstick, come completely off the base; the cards slip out with the slightest movement.

This game was on the top of my son's Christmas list, and was a complete disappointment and waste of money. The toymaker should be ashamed of themselves for riding the coat tails of the popular "Guess Who" with this piece of junk.

I am 6 years old and this game is kind of easy for me. It is fun. When I first played it it is pretty fun. I like it now to but is easier for me now. You have to figure out who the other person's card it. You can ask one question per turn. It is cool. Other kids like it too.

My daughter-4 yrs old-loves this game! It it great to see the wheels turning in her little mind as she thinks about what to ask next. The game moves quickly-as quick as you ask your questions and that leaves room for a few good games in a short amount of time. Would definitely recommend this and have given it as a gift with great reviews as well. The only downside is that the plastic is cheap and breaks easily. Lastly, devote about 15-20 minutes to "set up" prior to the first play. There are alot of pieces to break apart and then put in their place.

I loved the original "Guess Who" as a kid, so when my son turned 5 recently, I thought it was time to initiate him. And as a family of Disneyphiles, this edition seemed perfect.

My son got the hang of it quickly, and now enjoys playing. Besides being fun, and something we can do together, "Guess Who" is great for building skills such as categorizing (finding all the characters with feathers in their hats) and problem solving (deciding whether "Does your person have black hair?" or "Is your person a princess?" is the better question, and why) that pre-schoolers and kindergarten-age children are learning to develop.

The fact that the cards are full of Disney characters means young children are likely already familiar with the faces, a quality that will facilitate the learning-to-play process and appeal to most kids (lots of parents, too).

As others have mentioned, the game can be rather annoying to put together, and is not of the best quality, but in fairness, most of my son's toys these days fall into that category. I have not had any problems with card holders snapping off or cards falling out, though. And once the game is put together initially, it's pick-up-and-play.

This is a great game to enjoy with your children.
