5.0 out of 5 stars guest marine battery charger
This charger is for two batteries and comes with an AC plug that you can plug into an outlet. I have a 1988 Catalina 30 and mounted it under the chart table. I then had it professionally hard wired to the back of the electrical panel. It is quiet and works like it's supposed to. I give it thumbs up.

3.0 out of 5 stars connecting cords are too short
Overall the product is a well built charger. The problem lies in the fact that in most fishing boats the batteries are not within 4 feet of each other. It becomes a hassle disconnecting the front battery to make it reach. Also you need to be aware that you must complete the cycle, both cords to one battery or hook up both batteries. If you don't do this it will drain the...

Great product! I installed my battery charger in the battery bay of my Prevost bus conversion motorcoach to keep the chassis batteries charged while parked. Well written instructions and easy installation. The charger has worked perfectly since installation.

I use this charger on my 36 foot Uniflite houseboat. Out of the box you can tell it is a quality charger by its heft, it weighs quite a bit compared to other charger of its size. It was easy to install and operate. However, based on two separate and different hydrometers, it does not charge a battery to full capacity.

Hardest part about dealing with the charger was finding a place on the boat for it fit out of the way. Charger works flawlessly and after hooking it up we found a bad cell in our trolling battery. Bring the boat home, back it in the shed and hook up the extension cord. Next morning green light and tester confirms a good charge. The lifetime warranty against water damage was a huge draw.

I bought this charger for work to replace an older Guest charger in a light-duty vehicle pusher that we purchased used. So far it has worked well. We use it in the 24V configuration.

I have two 12V batteries for a 24V trolling motor that I leave the charger hooked up to. I use the motor during the day and charge over night and it's ready the next day. I haven't taken it from less than a 1/4 charge in the battery. It's charged over night through heavy rains with no problem. As far as I'm concerned, this is the way to go over the "standard" battery chargers that I could never leave outside over night with any confidence. Price was reasonable.

Great product, had one on another boat and has worked flawlessly. purchased this one to replace a prosport charger that had gone into and overcharge condition and fried one of my 100.00 deep cycle batteries on my boat. Stay away from the prosport and promariner models.

I purchase a competor's charger that lasted only 1 year, most dissappointed, for sure. So, I purchased the Guest, have used it through the 2010/2011 New Jersey winter and it performed as I needed it to each time. It was an easy mount as well as electrical hook up. Simple operation with only two LEDs to interpret and I'm happy with this item.
I would recommend this product.
