Maurice Maeterlinck, from the Introduction to The Unknown Guest AUTHOR BIO: Maurice Maeterlinck (1862-1949) was born in Ghet, Belgium, into a prosperous Francophone Catholic family. Maeterlinck was closely associated with the French literary movement of symbolism, which used symbols to represent ideas and emotions. The author of more than 60 books replete with suggestions of universal mystery and auras of impending doom, Maeterlinck's work as a whole can be read as a symbolist manifesto. He was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1911.

Proof of the after life by Nobel Prize winner.,

The author, a Nobel Prize winner, sets out to proof that there is no life after death, or at least that he will not find it - however, this honest and very literary man discovers that life does not end when the breathing stops.
I was very fascinated to read this book and could not put it down. Mastertinck is very good in his research, and his discovers are so much the better for us as he is very independent. A good book for anyone looking for third party verification. And a darn good read too!
