I've seen the Gufs live 3 times, which still leaves me pretty much a virgin compared to a lot of Gufs fans. However, I have to say that their high energy and talent definitely transfer to CD very well. This CD is just incredible. Smile and Crash (into me) are of course phenomenal, but the whole disc is great. Let her go and Loser's love song are pretty gut-wrenching and Life's sweet sound just soars with energy and hope. But my favorite track is probably Listen to the Trees... the best way to listen to that track is to just follow the advice - get some friends and listen to the trees. Overall a great effort, and these Milwaukee boys are keeping rock alive.

Yes he does. I've known the band for lets see, almost 10 years now. I love their music. This is the just a rehash of the out of print "Collide" plus a few extras The band is phenomonal live. If you ever get a chance to see them, go for it.

I first got into The Gufs while living in Milwaukee 8 years ago. I couldn't believe when I returned home to CA, that nobody had heard of them. Their music is beautiful, haunting, and I can listen to it non-stop!

I am still waiting for a new album. You won't be disappointed with either album.

Words are unable to describe this band. The best that I can come up with are awesome, passionate, unbelievable, and inspiring. I saw the band live twice and the are incredible. All of their albums are worth their weight in gold!

The Gufs, (from my hometown, yeah yeah Milwaukee!) are a great alternative band. They are one of my favorite groups, and their music is really beautiful and inspiring. I am listening to this CD right now, and some songs are mellow and relaxing like Listen to the Trees, while others you can really rock out to like Smile and Crash Into Me. This is a great CD, i suggest you buy it!

Great music and smart lyrics abound on this cd. From the hard rockin' "Smile" to the dark "Waisting Time" to the light "Loser's Love Song", this album has something to get you going no matter what mood you're in.

The experience gained while on the road has been put to good use in this fine cd. These recording artists deserve all the love and adoration that will no doubt come to them.

What A Album!!! This one has every thing you could want. Great from begining to end. The Gufs will leave you breathless not only on there CD. But also in concert. I've seen them 7 times and I'm still not sick of them. The are the greatest group nobody knows. Get this album and discover them for yourself.

The album is very upbeat and easy to listen to. Their song writing is incredible. They are great artists and his voice is amazing!I think that everyone should check these guys out or else you won't know what you are missing. Their new album comes out April 20th, 1999.

These Milwaukee boys will surely draw you in with Goran's (<----lead singer) amazing voice and the rest of the bands ablity to play so well together. This album is timeless. I bought it early on in high school and now being in college i still listen to it often. Not only does it contain heavily aired songs and favorites of many such as "Smile" and "Crash(Into Me)." But it also adds other songs that are not as well known like "Sunday Driver" (one of my faves) and "Listen to the Trees." Listening to this album gets me off to a great start or allows me to relax and unwind at the end of the day. Incredible lyrics, sound, and a great combo. of fast and slow songs. All these elements melt together to form one of the greatest albums of all time. "[They] can now control you with a [song]."

It was my understanding that at least 2 of the boys, Goran and Dejan at least, were from a small town called Munster, IN. But I keep seeing people saying they are from Milwaukee... What's the deal? We people from Munster need some sort of claim to fame!!!!
