I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!! About 11 years ago a series of events took place that left me emotionally, spiritually, and psychologically drained. I literally felt like things were hopeless. Then I got the paperback version of this book...and I mean it when I say it helped change my daily life.

I followed the author's suggestions (I was willing to try anything): I held the book in my two hands, held the problem or dilemma in my mind, meditated a bit on it, let my mind (and body) be still...then closed my eyes, made my request in a question form...and opened the book. I would always open it and only look at the page that I "felt" I was being led to by one of my fingers.

Most of the time I was amazed: the quotation on the page TRULY referred to my problem and gave me some insight. And I (more often than not) acted on it. Once in a while I'd get an answer that didn't seem like an answer, so I'd reframe the question and start the process again.

Years later I gifted this book to someone in trouble. And I truly missed not having it. Then, last month, I bought it AGAIN...this time in hardcover.

I STRONGLY recommend this book. Even if you read it from cover to cover (which is not really how it is designed to be used) you'd gain a wealth of insight, since the quotations -- from yogis, to Eileen Cassidy, to the Bible, to Walt Whitman -- are the BEST to help steer your thinking (and some say guide your intuition) towards helpful, often healing solutions.

This is a small but potent book. Great to read. Great to use as a little voice that will answer your questions as you randomly turn to a page after a bit of meditation. And, most of all, GREAT to GIFT to friends, family or someone who's facing some difficult challenges. Once you use this book you'll never want to be without it.

A few years ago my husband and I separated and later that same year I lost my best friend (my mother) to cancer. Not long after, I was given this book and I have kept it next to my bed ever since. It is a wonderful compulation of wise words that have given me strength, peace, acceptance and the understanding of inner wisdom that we all have, if we care to look. Enlighten yourself and others and enjoy the wonderful insights of this book of Wisdom! 'Seek always for the answer within'

Ms. Hayward's book has been a part of my life for more than 15 years. I recently purchased the updated version for a friend of mine. To achieve the best that this book offers, one must truly let go to the insight & experience that its text provides. If you are prepared to let go a little, and to learn even a little more, you will appreciate the peace you can receive from this volume.

I moved recently and was unpacking books when I came upon this gem. Received it many years ago from a friend and have given copies away to others. This book helps you calm down and guides you with words of wisdom. A must have for anyone who loves quiet time.

This little book of life offers some of the most powerful quotes and passages available throught the literature of self improvement. Great book to use on a daily basis for entering your journey of the day. Open the book when you reach a challenging moment in your life and theres your solution. Highly recommended.

I have referred to this book every day for guidence and support and find it very comforting in times of need and just for simple every day comfort. I recently lost 2 family members and a good friend, and found this book to be the best spiritual "pick-me-up" that I could carry with me and read every time I started to feel down. The references included in this publication are from the greatest philosphical minds in history - I recommend it highly to everyone.........

I felt the need to write this review and sing my praises about this collection after receiving other books in this genre by a different author which proved to be greatly disappointing.

I own many books of this type used for divination through bibliomancy and practice this magick daily.

This book has an attractive cover with its inside text written in calligraphy script. It also has a fabric tassel/bookmark attached from the binding which makes a nice touch. The quote on each page credits the origin from which the quote came which is nice to have available for when I go searching for other motivational quotes. It has also steered me in a good direction on purchasing other meaningful books because of the references to the author and/or book titles.

For the purpose of divination through bibilomancy, the collection of Susan Haywards books has my top recommendations. They are easy to communicate with and have a very nice reciprocating energy. The quotes have depth, dimension, and a good loving energy within them.

I have bought several of them as gifts. The books of this collection will most likely remain on my gift-giving list for many years to come.

My one and only gripe is that the picture shown is not like the book I received. Mine had different lettering which seemed half as nice as the one on the picture, but hey...the book isn't about its cover.

This collection of inspiration and angelic guidance has borne a permanent home on both my heart and my bedside table! Filled with the wisdom, knowledge and comforting quotes from some of the world's most intelligent and 'advanced souls', this book, bearing a unique and profound type of energy, is a ray of sunlight on any cloudy day. I have turned to its pages in every mood imaginable and it has never failed to provide clarity, guidance, consolation and peace.

This book helps the mind connect with the soul to relieve everyday stress. It is a guide we all should take advantage of for our journey through life. It never judges, it is a true friend
