5.0 out of 5 stars It's like having your personal tour guides, December 7, 1999
By
This review is from: The Top 10 Guide to Beijing (Top 10 Travel Guides (Internationalists)) (Paperback)
This is a terrific Guide. I bought it as I was heading off for trip to China with Beijing as my target. It's by three young women who grew up in Beijing. It was a delight to use. It was easy to read, they know all the inside information and they make sure you see all the important sights in Beijing. It's like having three Beijing natives as your personal tour guides. I highly recommend this guide.

5.0 out of 5 stars Serena wrote a great guide to Beijing art events!, January 18, 2002
This review is from: The Top 10 Guide to Beijing (Top 10 Travel Guides (Internationalists)) (Paperback)
This book was almost the first book providing an ultimate guide to Beijing. Ms Serena Pan wrote a great part on the "art guide" to Beijing. I know she graduated from a prestigious "art and business" university in China. She added her own 20+ year experiences in Beijing in this book.

This guide has no value either for planning or when you are there. The lists are obvious and can be gotten free from any free travel agency.
