We bought this title about a year ago and we use it regularly. The illustrations are excellent and the text is lucid and helpful. We have lots of bird guides, but this is the one we carry in our backpack while hiking.

This is a great book if you are getting started in birdwatching or are an avid birdwatcher....it has great color photos of each bird as well as detailed descriptions of their habitats and locations...

easy to use, great info on the birds. not technical. great pictures. even my granddaughter can look up birds she's seen and she's six.
