We bought this title about a year ago and we use it regularly. The illustrations are excellent and the text is lucid and helpful. We have lots of bird guides, but this is the one we carry in our backpack while hiking.

This is a great book if you are getting started in birdwatching or are an avid birdwatcher....it has great color photos of each bird as well as detailed descriptions of their habitats and locations...

easy to use, great info on the birds. not technical. great pictures. even my granddaughter can look up birds she's seen and she's six.

I bought the Colorado Bird book so the kids and I could learn about the birds we see on our nature walks. My 4 year old likes to sit and look at all of the birds. There are so many beautiful birds in Colorado it is really nice to learn the names of them.

This Guide was very good to use with National geographic. good photo's & field notes. Quick reference back of guide! Worth the cost.

I was very pleased with my purchase and the timely mater in which it came.
