5.0 out of 5 stars Amazingly Funny
Very Funny! The best book I have read in a long time! It has humerous statements and small quotes. Like The "Universes Most Patient Human."Extremely Funny!

2.0 out of 5 stars Q would NOT be amused . . .
. . . Nor was I. To be fair there were some funny parts to this book, there just weren't nearly enough for me to recommend it. I found most of the book rather boring.

1.0 out of 5 stars Showy, but devoid of content, August 25, 1998

This review is from: Q's Guide to the Continuum (Paperback)
As a Q fan, I bought this book for my collection. I wouldn't, however, recommend it to anyone who actually wants it for its content. Basically, it gives one-page summaries of various Trek lore, written from Q's point of view. Unfortunately, even from Q's perspective, the summaries are dull. The book also lacks serious description of the Q Continuum itself; I had hoped that this would be the topic of the book. It wasn't.

1.0 out of 5 stars It just doesn't do Q justice., December 21, 1998

Although there were a few funny lines here and there, this book was not worth the money I paid for it and I ended up returning it. It should have been called "Sinical Superlatives" by someone desperatley trying to capture Q's sense of humor. I was quite dissapointed and would not recommend this book.

Extremely funny! A wonderful book with tons of information from Q's point of view. Q has always been my favorite character on Star Trek next to Spock and Data. Some other person said this book was no good. Well They're wrong!

2.0 out of 5 stars Not the best, yet still interesting, September 17, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Q's Guide to the Continuum (Paperback)
This book does not talk about Q, the Q Continuum, etc. Rather, it has quick little nuggets of Star Trek info, like the "Least Likable Humanoid" and the "Most Annoying Alternate Reality". Also, the price is a bit steep for its content.

A somewhat interesting trivia book with several black & white photo's thrown in for posterity's purpose. This book present's a slightly more acidic Q than usual, no big deal though. It is definitely overpriced for what you get. Definitely one for the collector's and maybe Star Trek novices who want to find out a little about Star Trek history without trudging through the encyclopedia.

3.0 out of 5 stars Fun, but not worth the money, September 7, 1999

This review is from: Q's Guide to the Continuum (Paperback)
The book is good, light and funny, but US$16.00 is very steep. I read the entire book at the bookshop and did not pay a cent.
