I bought this book for my 83 year old Mother who is really 83 going on 40. We both believe part of the reason is here voracious appetite for Cross Word Puzzles. The first thing you notice about this is the sheer size of it. It is HUGE! More like a phone book than one of those little puzzle books that fit in your pocket or pocketbook! The puzzles cover a spectrum of generations in their clues. They aren't brain surgery, but they are also no insult to your intellignce. These are TV Guide, not the NY Times. So, they are fun as opposed to challenging. I have to pull the book away from Mom just to get her to call it a night. That is unless she falls asleep with it in her lap! I am actually thinking of ordering one of these just for me,after all, I'm not getting any younger! This is for the beach, for the long passenger drive. And, the large print is great in its layout in the book. Just remember, it is NOT portable.

I was very pleased when I received this book! I usually need my reading glasses to do puzzle books, not with this one. The large print was a pleasant surprise and makes it so much more enjoyable. Just pick up a pencil and go! Great purchase if you love doing puzzles that are not too hard, not too easy - but just right.

bought this product for my wife. she loves to sit in her favorite chair and do her crosswords. she spends hours doing them.
