Guys, read this,

Recently, my boyfriend and I read this book together. The author got it right when explaining exactly what a man needs to do to pleasure a woman. Even my boyfriend, who thinks he's awesome when it comes to oral sex was able to learn what really works vs. what he thinks works. As a couple, this book opened up a conversation that we hadn't had before and I was able to bring up things that were in the book and explain why I liked them and wished to experience more of. I liked that this book is short and to the point. It was an easy read and definitely helped us.

Not ashamed to admit I needed a refresher course,

This review is from: Guide to Eating Out - The Lick-by-Lick Guide to Mouthwatering and Orgasmic Oral Sex (Paperback)
Brief history: After being married to a woman for five years who I couldn't seem to satisfy, I recently re-married and am determined to have a very different intimate relationship with. That means not being ashamed to educate myself about what women like when it comes to oral pleasure and how to ask them what they want.
You'd think this sort of thing would come naturally, but it doesn't. I bought this book because I wanted to read something short and instructional so I could put what I learned to use right away. While I found a lot of the content in this book to be what you'd consider common sense, it was good to be reminded about certain techniques and to also get ideas for techniques I had never tried. The book was written in a friendly, conversational tone which I appreciated. Often books like this can get cutesy or tasteless. This one appealed to my intellect and helped me feel more confident. Nothing beats actually "doing", but this book was a nice push in the right direction.

The book was a quick, easy read but didn't give me, personally, any new information I didn't know. Most of the techniques are pretty accurate and I can see where it could help inexperienced people who want to please their lovers.

This is a seriously low-budget book with very little to no useful information, poorly written and presented with tons of misspellings. Please look elsewhere if you are considering buying this book because of the false claims that it makes in the title and reviews. It is less than basic, and not worth any price. I was very disappointed in it.

A Let Down Guide,

This review is from: Guide to Eating Out - The Lick-by-Lick Guide to Mouthwatering and Orgasmic Oral Sex (Paperback)
The book by all defintions could not actually be considered a book, including pictures and other peoples excerpts, it boast a meager eighty pages. It struck numorous grammer and spelling errors through out the book, it is the twentyfirst century and the publishing house and or editors could not run a simple spell check or preform a proof reading. The overall books substance was far to basic and meandered these basics over 5 chapters that could have been summed up in as few as one. I would not recommend this book to anyone over the age of consent, it would be diservice. Women deserve better!

A little background-- I love travel books and often get books on dining out in various cities. A friend of mine got me this as a joke, based on the title. As I was flipping through it, I found myself saying, "Yes, that's a good one" or otherwise agreeing with the advice. Some of it is pretty basic, but most guys, in my opinion, could really use help there. Build the foundation and they will come. haha.
Bottom line is it works.

The first consideration one should consider when eating out is the type you most enjoy, which satisfies you and is a not only an eating pleasure, but can develop into a transcendental experience. I have a number of favorites; Chinese, Latin, Native American, Greek, Afro-American, Italian, and of course good old American Country. I have tried them all, and find that much depends upon my need at that particular moment and of course what I had the evening before.
Secondly, one should realize that there are many choices out there and while you might like one particular cuisine, your eating companion may not share your enthusiasm. To truly enjoy a good meal out, you must choose wisely from the menu and be aware of the fact that one girls haut cuisine is another's Big Mac. Thirdly, eating should be done slowly; every so slowly. It you gobble, gobble, gobble, you will miss the exquisite subtle flavors, the minute nuances, indeed, even the slight whispering sounds that take place during a good meal that many, I am sad to report, are completely unaware of! My, oh my, what they do miss! Forth, it should be realized that nothing bats a thousand 100 percent of the time. You may dine, or eat out at a place and find it wretched. I have found that it sometimes takes two or three...at times more, samplings of all the fare offered to really make a good judgment call. I once ate Korean. It was horrible! But I decided to give it a second chance a few night later, and again at even a later date. I found that with each sampling it got better and better and I almost became addicted to the stuff after my fifth meal. I have loved this particular dish ever since. Bottom line was that it was not the dishes fault, but rather mine in the way I approached and ate it. Fifth. Always remember that any good meal like this requires extensive prep work. You cannot just set down and begin to eat...no, no, no! You need to play around with your food a bit, taste it with gentle nibbles, explore its many ways of being served, try other dishes of similar quality and kind. Remember that hunger and anticipation are quite often the best sauce! Sixth, when eating out remember your manners! This is very important. You do not want to spoil the meal for those you are with simply because you are only interested in your own hunger. There is no excuse for bad manners and I think you will find that the food will taste much better for displaying a civilized attitude. If you are rude and gross toward your food, it will surly return the same. Seventh, when eating out, engage all of our senses...taste (of course), touch, feel, sight, hearing, smell; they all make a difference for both you and the one you are dinning with. Don't forget the communication either; this is very important. If you do not tell the server that you do not like brussels sprouts, then you will keep getting them fed to you. Eighth is a touchy subject and I really should not have to address it here, but will anyway...I am talking hygiene! When you dine out it very important to be as clean as clean can be as the eating experience can be utterly ruined if you or the person you are eating with is dirty. Now I am not saying that a quick bit after a healthy sweaty workout at the gym is not a delightful experience or a quick meal at a little café while hiking cannot be rewarding, but there is a big difference is this sort of "dirt" and accumulated filth. No, one should anticipate meals anytime one goes out and be prepared, not only with a nice cleansing bath, but the application of proper condiments when appropriate. This is very true if you find yourself the server and expect a return engagement as to dinning. And do, when you eat out with a friend, be aware of their needs also. If you finish the meal before they do, wait for them and end the evening on a harmonious note. I found this book on dinning out while searching for a work on how to have good sex...OMG...I just reread the title...blush, blush, blush! Never mind...... Gosh, am I embarrassed.

Good book to read together,

As a Christian woman who did not have sex before marriage (neither did my husband), we are learning as we go along and are having fun doing so. It's books like this one that help us talk to each other and make oral a team effort rather than my husband feeling pressured to figure out everything on his own. One weekend, we brought this book into the bedroom and took turns reading it (it's not very long) and practiced the techniques. I liked that the instructions were basic without being dumbed down and that the book was about a sexual topic, but respectful of the reader (as in, it didn't read like it was porn). Overall, we are both glad we purchased this book.

I enjoyed this book. Some good new stuff I hadn't thought of plus a list of "fundamentals" that I'd forgotten.
Took it for a spin, so to speak, and got good results. That's the real proof as to how good it is, in my opinion. |
