this book was good in the fact that (when used properly) it actually forces you to learn instead of just trying to remember practice tests. there's no better way to learn than problem solving which is where this book shines. Each section of the book requires the reader to investigate and solve problems via the codebook utilizing math skills and thought process. If this book is used as intended you will become pretty efficient in navigating and understanding the NEC which builds enormous confidence in the test taker or field electrician. I gave it only three stars because like the other reviewers stated it's full of typos and wrong answers, so beware of that, but if your fairly knowledgeable you'll catch them. Also, it was a little lacking in covering certain subjects. All in all a good learning tool that will hone your skills in navigating the NEC and problem solving.

this book was helpful in reviewing especially because alot of the things in it i havent thought about since the apprenticeship. that being said watch out for errors. it seems like there is at least 1 or 2 errors per practice test. it kinda eats into my study time when i have to double check the answer code.

The book was very helpful in reviewing the code and calculations, but be careful there are LOTS of math errors in the books answers.
