Book Description

I don't develop software. I'm not an IT guy.

I'm not a technology pastor. I don't consult with others about information systems. Rather, I'm a pastor.

This eBook began with my personal appetite to use technology to support my ministry. In the midst of countless conversations among friends and peers about this new tool called Evernote, it occurred to me that there might be many more who would greatly benefit from this unbelievable tool.

I didn't set out to write a user manual. There are others available that will do just that. My goal is to introduce you to how I use Evernote in my ministry. My hope is not that you'll do everything just as I do it, because you are your own person. My desire is that through sharing how I use this tool, your imagination will help you use Evernote to maximize your ministry opportunity.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointment June 8, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I am a missionary and every dollar counts. I thought this would be a guide on how to use Evernote, but it turned out to be just a list of things this man does with it. It is not a description of HOW to do anything. I was extremely disappointed as well because for $5 you would expect to get something. My advice to my fellow Pastors and full time Christian service workers is to just watch videos on Youtube that actually tell you how to use Evernote, and be a better steward with your money than spending $5 on this. God Bless!

4.0 out of 5 stars Quick overview June 2, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Already using evermore so much of what is written I already know. However it validated my use and I did pickup some great tips.

Easy fast read which I consider a plus.

A little pricey I think. But I'm not sorry I purchased it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Love Evernote August 26, 2013

I consider myself to be an avid Evernote user, but I started by stumbling on it and learning it by trial and error. I tell Pastors about Evernote all the time, so when I saw this eBook I thought I should write something like it. It is short, and an easy read. It validated some things I learned on my own, and showed me some great features I wasn't using and now I will.

I had expected something more detailed for such a price and it was very very short. Read in all 5 minutes. Nothing really helpful.

2.0 out of 5 stars Too little for the money November 4, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
For 5 bucks, you'd think you might get a more helpful book. I'm a pastor, and I found this book too vague to be helpful. I'm a slow reader, and it took me only minutes toread this book. Need to provide more for the money.

I am very disappointed in this "book" purchase. I wish I would not have and recommend that you don't. It is only 26 pages (if that) long and the info is basically free online already via a basic search for 'Evernote' in reviews and videos that others have done. At first I was excited to see a "book" specifically written for pastors using or wanting to use Evernote. I thought I might glean some tips and ideas for using this program as a pastor...but, there is really nothing here. I would not write a bad review if this pastor made this pdf available to folks for free, but come on! $5!? Really!? It is not even worth 99 cents. Seriously, this could be thrown together in an hour or two. It only takes a handful of minutes to read it!
