This rifle case is very well made, and it is the best buy that I could find. I primarily bought it to hold two air rifles, but it is plenty big enough to also hold a couple of pistols and even other supplies. Make sure that you aren't confused with the picture that amazon shows with both the rifle case and the pistol case. Remember, they are sold separately!

Thin gauge aluminum case that will take little abuse before becoming creased. Cheap three number combination locks that are easily broken. Otherwise well constructed and handsome. Shipped two .22 rifles on an airline with several boxes of ammo and it came through okay probably because it is what it looks like - a rifle case. Couldn't find anything else in the same price range that would have stood up as well. If you are going to frequently or carry ship rifles, you should probably spend more and get a quality case made out of a more damage resistant material.

Got my case the other day. It is everything others have called it. I would agree that the combination locks could be sturdier. But other than that it is a great case for the price. While it might not totally compare with my ICC aluminum case, you can't go wrong. That ICC of mine is more than double the price of this one. Absolutely

I bought it to hold a 223 with scope and a 30/06 with scope and both fit perfectly with a few boxes of cartridges. .It is one sturdy well made item, and more than worth the price. Theonly knock is the built in combination locks are a little funky but do work ok.

I bought this item. I packaged my firearm in it. I checked the firearm case with the airline. I flew from Oahu, Hawaii, to Texas. Simple right? When I went to claim my baggage, the case was in TWO PIECES! One of the sides, that are held on by a VERY cheap adhesive, had come almost all of the way off. It was being held on by a very small amount of adhesive. The foam of inside of the case was exposed. If someone wanted to take my firearm, they could have with ease. The case is a very cheap price for a reason, my advice is do not purchase it, unless you want a product that will break from using it only once, on an airline.
