I wanted a grill that I could use over a basic campfire, and this one works great. Swing action was a little hard to set, but I got it working great in no time at all. If you want to grill over an open fire and be able to move your food on and off the fire with ease, this is the grill you want. comes with everything you need except the hammer to pound it into the ground. I took off a star because the welding was a little sloppy and I had some trouble assembling it the first time. After I got the screws in the first time it worked great. The grill spacing is really nice, and leaves a nice pattern on the food, the material that the cooking grill is made from is not something I would expect to last as long as the grill stand so I will probably have to have a new grill welded in at some point, but I figure that it should last several seasons with no problem.

Solid camp stove and as usual the shopping experience with Amazon was a pleasure. The only issue we have come across is that if you have coals in a dug out pit it is difficult to drop cooking surface of grill low enough to get close to the heat. We use charcoal so this might not be any issue if you are truly cooking over a fire.
