There was no size information included in Amazon's description, so I went looking for it.* Measures 191" x 48" x 46" h., constructed of 2" steel tubing, two large plated "S" hooks * Fits up to 14 ft. hammocks (hammock not included) * Easy to set-up * Assembly / information sheet * Weighs 56 1/2 lbs.

Appears to be well made. It holds my oversized hammock well. It does have some 'slop' that allows things to move a bit, but that's because it's all slip fit. The real plus is that it's easy to break down and store in the garage when it's not being used (a big plus for what I wanted). I didn't want to have to do a lot of disassembly to store it. Had the portability not been important I wouldn't have bought this one. But if being able to quickly break it down and move it is important, this one does that pretty well. Decent price too.

The Guide Gear Hammock Stand is about a third of the price of the competition. It does a fine job of doing what it is designed to do. It was delivered quickly and came very well packaged. The fit and finish are impressive. The durable black finish should look good for many years of relaxing. It looks great supporting my vintage Pawley's Island double wide rope hammock. I highly recommend the Guide Gear hammock stand (unless you'd rather pay three times the price for some other brand).
