There was no size information included in Amazon's description, so I went looking for it.

Appears to be well made. It holds my oversized hammock well. It does have some 'slop' that allows things to move a bit, but that's because it's all slip fit. The real plus is that it's easy to break down and store in the garage when it's not being used (a big plus for what I wanted). I didn't want to have to do a lot of disassembly to store it. Had the portability not been important I wouldn't have bought this one. But if being able to quickly break it down and move it is important, this one does that pretty well. Decent price too.

The Guide Gear Hammock Stand is about a third of the price of the competition. It does a fine job of doing what it is designed to do. It was delivered quickly and came very well packaged. The fit and finish are impressive. The durable black finish should look good for many years of relaxing. It looks great supporting my vintage Pawley's Island double wide rope hammock. I highly recommend the Guide Gear hammock stand (unless you'd rather pay three times the price for some other brand).

I got my hammock stand very quickly, and with great anticipation I set it up in my backyard. I laid on it for a short while and then decided to come back to it a bit later. When I returned to relax, the metal 'ripped' and I found myself sitting on the ground. I have been awaiting a return label to ship it back to the company for at least a month...maybe more. So now I have to find a box big enough in which to packup a hammock stand!!! Overall, I am not impressed with this stand or the company from which I got it!

Well-made product at an excellent price. Arrived about the time promised in sturdy package. Only problem, and it is mine, is that it takes up a lot of space. On the other hand, it is quick and easy to take down and store.

I bought this stand because it looked the sturdiest. It was extremely easy to set up! However, it is VERY HEAVY!! Be careful and have someone help you get the box and its contents outside. Don't throw your back out!!
