I bought a jacket like this for my husband in July and he loved it. When I saw this available through Amazon at $10 less and also at half the shipping price than buying it directly from the Sportsman's Guide, I had to get one for myself. It arrived today, less than a week after I purchased it. This jacket has 10 pockets total. There are 4 full size Velcro closing ones in the front with 2 hand warmer types under the two lower outside front pockets. There are also smaller mesh zipper pockets on the sides of the top two outside front pockets. On the inside left chest area there is a mesh pocket large enough to fit a men's wallet and a smaller mesh pocket sewn on top of that about the size of a credit card or slightly larger.

The jacket is waterproof and windproof. The sleeves have a wide, soft elastic type cuff on the inside that hugs your wrist while the outside of the sleeve has a velcro band that adjusts to fit more snugly around the wrist and keep out wind and moisture. There are elastic pulls sewn into the bottom hem of the jacket that can be tightened to keep out wind. There is also a hood that can be rolled up and secured to keep it out of the way when not in use with elastic sewn into the edges for a more snug fit around your head and face.

The jacket is lightweight with some thin padding on the inside that doesn't bulk up and restrict movement but is surprisingly warm. My husband, who used to live in Utah, said the jacket is perfect for mainland weather where you use several layers of clothing and then use a windproof, waterproof lightweight jacket over that to keep warm.

I'd recommend this jacket to anyone wanting a comfortable, well made, lightweight but sturdy jacket that will keep you warm and dry for a decent price.

Actually bought the Jacket and Bibs from Sportsmansguide. Current sale price is same as Amazon. Only reason for 4 stars is that the Bibs are a little snug for being XL. Could still wear jeans and longjohns but nowhere near as roomy as the jacket. Wore the outfit on a WET ATV trip with no leakage at all. Jacket was actually warmer than I expected.
Will be buying another set for my wife.
