I am very disappointed with this item. First, in moderately cold skiing weather 10-20 degrees fahrenheit, my face was a little cold through this mask. While skiing downhill, the wind shred through this mask. Second, after only 1 weekend of moderate use, the front of the mask was worn away. I would not be surprised if it tore during the 2nd weekend of use. Third, I have a medium sized head and this thing was wayyyy too big for me. Finally, the mask traps the moisture of my breath and freezes it, making the mask uncomfortable around the mouth area.

The only pros are that it is lightweight and breathable.

The product was new when it arrived and after 3 hunting trips it came home in pieces. The price was good but the quality was not!

Picture is VERY deceptive. This balaclava is very very thin...think panty hose. Very easily snagged and certainly not much in extra warmth.

This is the second balaclava I've ordered from this source. Shipping is fast and the item has come well packaged and undamaged each time.

I wear this under my helmet for several reasons: to protect the liner of the helmet from the natural oils in my hair and skin, to help keep my earplugs or earbuds in place, to stop the wind from making knots in the hair at the nape of my neck, and in cool weather to provide a little extra warmth. Since it's silk however, I can wear it in warm weather without overheating.

I ordered this as a mask for disguising myself during ninja attacks. I have to say that its served me perfectly. It's convientently lightweight, though a little thin. I often worry about it ripping during battles, but it hasn't happened yet. The best thing about the balaclava is that it can easily be put in a pocket, then whipped out and put on when needed. I really reccommend this for Splinter Cells or Ninjas.

It was too small for my head in that the neck part didn't even come to the bottom of my neck. Plus it's see-through. My face and hair were visible through it.

The only good thing is that it's breathable. Not what i was looking for though.

I recieved what was supposed to be the package that carried this 'balaclava mask' I ordered and when I opened the package there was NOTHING there !! The seller did not even send the product I ordered, Just an empty package . and I also had paid extra for faster shipping.
I have tried contacting the seller about this problem and they have not replied.

This item is very lightweight (as you'd expect from silk underwear). While we were using it under a costume, rather than for winter warmth, the several people using it all said it was very comfortable and not too hot inside the costume.

I would like to say that the price is great, and the product is decent. That kinda sums it all up.

I got this balaclava and put it on and it fits great, stretches great, fits over my head and face perfectly. I bought this for using during airsoft games, and I have to say it works great. I put this on, with goggles, and a hat and it looks awesome! The only downfall is that like all the other reviews is that the quality is kinda poor how it's put together. I have yet to have it rip or tear or come apart, but I'm sure it will soon. If I were running around through the woods and if I happen to lean against a tree and a branch or anything were to catch on the balaclava, I'm sure it would rip VERY easily.

The pros are that it's extremely lightweight, and airy, breathes easily for your skin.
It stretches so it will fit all sizes of heads.
Price is awesome. Although it would be cool if they included 2 in the pack for how small they are in the package.
Perfect for airsofting!

Cons are it's probably going to tear soon after you get it if you don't watch yourself.
If you put goggles on overtop of this, you run the risk of your goggles fogging, but not that bad for me. The mask is so lightweight and thin that most of your breath goes through the mask and not up into your goggles.

I would recommend this mask for now, but I'm afraid mine is going to rip soon :-(

While clearly an excellent mask for the novice and professional ninja, I purchased it primarily for winter sports. It is extremely comfortable while skiing and snowboarding, and the touch of silk while sitting upon the lifts seems to provide a calm soothing feeling to offset the pain from my numerous falls on the moguls. It keeps you cool from your own body heat but simultaneously keeps your face warm despite the freezing temperatures around you. It is very breathable, but my only issue was that it did trap the moisture of my breath.
