Authentic, old-fashioned snowshoes are becoming more difficult to find and the Guide Gear Rawhide Snowshoes were a wonderful find. My son put them on his Christmas list this year and while there are hundreds of metal types out there, finding a rawhide pair under $200 was pretty difficult. These were on sale at the time, but when they arrived I was pleased with the quality of construction as well as with the price!
