Very comfortable and warm, but mine did not have a seat "flap," it was more of a slit. I was expecting a horizontal 2-button seat flap, like the kind you see in old Westerns or cartoons. This was a 1-button vertical slit. Not very flattering.

Not a big deal, I guess, except I got it as a costume and was really looking forward to the seat flap, as weird as that sounds.

These are plenty hard to find but always worthwhile. More comfortable than the waffle style white suits, and by far better than two piece long underwear. The flap in the back of course speaks for itself! For moderate cold this is the best you can get. Only Army wool could outdo the Red Union Suit.

My husband purchased two of these fabulous red union suits. He loves jumping into them just before bed. They keep him warm and toasty. FYI...the leg length is perfect, but the arm length is just barely long enough. I recommend buying them is sets of two to economize your shipping charges. Hey, at this price, they might make good white elephant gifts, too.

I am a Union Electrician in Philadelphia P.A. local98, and i can tell you that theses suits are great for any tradesman or anyone who works out in the sub-zero winters here, as someone else already posted YOU NO LONGER HAVE TO KEEP ADJUSTING THE BOTTOMS FROM FALLING DOWN WHEN YOU BEND OVER, I spend alot of long cold,snowy and windy days out in the elements and these suits are just as important to me as my tools and a cup of hot coffe, if you are looking for size information im 6ft1in 220lbs and these things in size Large fit better than gloves,

only suggestion I could make is to buy on the small size... they appear to run big and you don't want baggy underwear ;-)

My husband adores this. I got him a size medium and it fits him perfectly at 5'10-1/2" and 180 pounds. We haven't washed it yet, but the arms go all the way to his wrists and the legs to his ankles - that's hard to find sometimes, especially online. If you can't find your size here, check the Sportsman's Guide online.

Purchased this item as a gift. It was a fair price, so I ordered it. When it was received, it was washed once, in cold water by itself, so the red color wouldn't bleed onto other items. It shrank too much to be comfortably worn by the gift recipient, unfortunately. Would've bought the next larger size had I known, it would shrink that much.

My recommendation, should you be interested in picking up this item, buy the next larger size, as it'll shrink, otherwise, you're just wasting you're $$$. ~Good Luck!~

We bought this product to be used as a Halloween costume but when the weather got so cold, my husband wore it to work and he says it was fantastic. Very warm and comfortable. I'm thinking of buying my own.

My husband has been wanting one of these union suits for a long time. He was slightly disappointed that it didn't have the classic flap in the back, but that was a minor issue.

He is 5'11" and wears either a size 2X or 3X shirt, 42 pant, and this suit in XXL was PLENTY big on him. So it definitely runs large! I'd also say it should be fine for men up to 6'3" with longer torsos because overalls (for example) don't tend to fit long on my husband but this union suit is considerably long on him, mainly in the crotch but it wasn't long in the leg, it was just about right.

For the price, it is excellent quality in our opinion!

I've been looking for a union suit (or long johns) for a while now so I was excited when I saw these on Amazon. Unfortunately when I tried them on I notice a LOT of slack around the mid section and rear. I'm around 6 feet/165 pounds. I expected some slack given I'm fairly thin but nothing like this! So if your 6 feet and overweight I would highly recommend these but otherwise beware.
