5.0 out of 5 stars A short book, but really effective...
Admittedly, there are a ton of books which have been published about the Law of Attraction. Even though it's a popular subject right now, personally, I have had a hard time finding one, specific book that has helped me firmly grasp the concept.

3.0 out of 5 stars So-So rehash
I gave this book a 3 because I like the subject matter. For someone who knows nothing about the Law of Attraction, I would suggest The Secret. The book rehashes all the LoA stuff with nothing new. I was looking for a step-by-step approach but this wasn't it. In retrospect, I do recommend Law of Attraction: The Science of Attracting More of What You Want and Less of What...

5.0 out of 5 stars A short book, but really effective..., January 11, 2007
Admittedly, there are a ton of books which have been published about the Law of Attraction. Even though it's a popular subject right now, personally, I have had a hard time finding one, specific book that has helped me firmly grasp the concept.

I came across this book by David Hooper and was, at first, drawn in by the vibrant cover. I was skeptical of whether an 80-page book was merely an introduction to the Law of Attraction or could actually be a good learning resource.

I read the through the book the evening I bought it. I have to say, it turned out to be a really valuable book.

The first part is devoted to explaining the LofA. There's nothing new here and all the usual suspects from the self-help/new age movement are quoted. It's the following chapters in which Hooper gives straightforward instruction and explanation on how to use the LoA in the areas of career, relationships and health that totally make this book worthwhile. After I read through it, I began making lists of things I wanted to draw into my life using Hooper's suggestions on how to change my mindset to get what I wanted. Some of my smaller goals (such as finding a new hair stylist whom I could really connect with) manifested within days. It's these experiences that give me faith that if I can make the small things happen, I can make big things happen as well.

I think it is the combination of the basic easy-to-digest language and the techniques he suggest that really helped me "get it".

Update: A couple of days ago, I was searching Itunes for self-help audio. I was surprised to find an audio version of this book available for download. I bought it and find it a really good companion to the book.

This is a short book, easy to follow and very straight forward. It is a must read for anyone that is not happy with how their life is working, or even for someone who is, and wants to enrich their life further.

For those skeptics out there, this stuff really works. It's not magic, it is nature!! I encourage you to spend the short time it takes to read this book!!! But, be prepared to change!!! If you utilize the information you read, your life WILL change. I have been somewhat practicing these concepts in my life for almost a year now, without really realizing it. I have found the love of my life, have more money in my savings account than I ever imagined, have an new job that I love, and make 10% more than the job I was "downsized" from. I will be moving into a new home soon, and will have a new vehicle soon. This has all happened in 10 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just read it and find out for yourself!! You will not regret it!!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Must Read!!!, January 31, 2007

Over the years, I have read countless "new age" books and recently watched "The Secret." The missing piece for me was information on how to continuously and realistically apply these lessons to my day-to-day existence. David Hooper's book is the solution. Mr. Hooper has distilled a large body of information into a practical, insightful, and inspirational guide. If you DON'T want to bring happiness into your life, go read something else. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and get this book!

4.0 out of 5 stars The Law of Attraction, February 26, 2007
The Law of Attraction is a good book that everyone should read, especially those who are not familiar with old spiritual truths and mystical laws. In the book, most of what is said, has been said before. Still, it is put in a very simple and concise manner.

If you like a fast read, packed with a lot of common sense, and a very good positive message, you should read the Law of Attraction. If you need a change in your life, then this is definately the book to read.

I have been a trainer, mentor and Professional salespereson my whole life and I finally understand why some people succeed so easily while others work 10x's as hard and fail miserably. Very well written and easy to follow plan for success. I only wish I had this book 30 years ago!

This is a real insight. I originally thought I would thumb through it, but when I started reading, I did not put it down until I finished the entire book. Very good reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars It makes sense...and it works!, January 30, 2007
I have followed the tenants of TLA for a long time - and the changes in my life have been profound - and yet it is still difficult to get the concept across to family and friends (some actually think I am just "lucky"!). This book is written in common sense language that simplifies the concept and the process, and takes it out of the esoteric
"touchy feely" style that so often is a turn off for the TLA "newbie".

Great book - great way to live.....

5.0 out of 5 stars Magnetize Me, February 6, 2007
This book is written in a refreshingly clear way. Expounding on the law of attraction in our three dimensional universe - Mr. Hopper shows the path of thinking of very wise philosophers of the past have tried to convey - all is not as it seems, our world is subjective and we do have the "power" to magentize and bring the patterns we hold our mind into our 3D "reality". Excellent, clear reading!

5.0 out of 5 stars This book fills in the gaps, February 6, 2007

I have read a lot of material related to the Law of Attraction and this book by David Hooper adds a perspective that is missing in most other writings. His additional insight is valuable, in fact essential in my opinion to make the whole thing believable at a practical level and useful in one's life and let one move to that happy state of allowing that is necessary for the law to work in a positive way.

Most LOA writings speak of the basic need for gratitude and appreciation as part of the process towards fulfilling one's desires but this book explains that it isnt only about what you can materially get from following the simple rules but how unconditional love, being the greatest universal force, can supply the missing links to make dreams come true in all areas of life. It is a book of deep thoughts but written in easy language and I have found on repeat readings, new insights with each read. Highly recommend.
