I love this book!
It has many different types of styles you can make in one book. Some other books have only crochet, or only ribbon, this books has the works! Many different things you can do. I live in the mainland, and I make leis for graduations, and birthdays, retirements. One time someone wanted to come up and 'smell' my lei, LOL!. I have made five leis in the past few...

Hawaiian Leis
I bought this book specifically to learn how to make one Ribbon Lei for a Girl Scout fundraiser. Having never been to Hawaii, the overall book of designs I was somewhat disappointed in, however, it is perfect for my origianl purpose. I have made five leis in the past few months. I have made ID card lanyards too. I make dark colored leis for 'over the hill' bdays, so lots of different things you can do! I have fun doing the crafting with others, and passing it on in the mainland. I have 1 lady that learned the crochet leis, and is making them for anniversary and bdays, another lady wanted to buy the book, and a third lady is checking it out too. Aloha! PS, I've met the author, she is very reputable and sincere! A real sweet lady!
