This review is from: Guide to Medicare Coverage Decision-Making and Appeals (Paperback)
This is not a book for the average Grandpa Joe appealing his medicare claim. It's written for experts, consultants, doctors, and attorneys working with the medicare system. That said, the authors are national experts and record a great deal of information and insight about how Medicare works. Also useful are references to a lot of parts of the statute and regulations and where some of the reg's and laws came from. Some aspects of appeals have changed in the couple years since this book, but most of it is still very useful. it has alot of information on the coverage system and policy development in general, not just appeals per se.
