3.0 out of 5 stars Great pictures! Species detail! Breif care guide.
This book has great imformative color pictures, but the book mainly focuses on the virity of sub-species for red-tailed boas. This book has great imformative color pictures, but the book mainly focuses on the virity of sub-species for red-tailed boas. That part of the book deserves a perfact ten, although the care guide is rather brief and doesent explain. The feeding, selection, breeding, and housing sections are the least explanatory, while the diseases section is covers many topics with much reason. i do not wish to scare you away from this book though. It would still make a good addition to your knowledge. (especailly on species and diseases)

1.0 out of 5 stars Would not recommend this one. ., January 25, 2002

This book was not very helpful to me at all. Some of the information is inconsistent with other books I have purchased, and some details are completely incorrect. Does not get into proper care or housing too deeply either. I wouldn't waste your money.
