The Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi has recently started using this book in our backpacks for newly diagnosed children and their families. It is comprehensive, well written and full of practical advice for parents. We've had very positive feedback from parents and guardians who find it reassuring to have especially during those first few days home from the hospital where everything is so new. Highly recommended!
