Rueben Job has produced a number of masterful books on the subject of both personal and communal retreats. I have used this book on personal retreats as well as group retreats, and I have found it to be a wonderful resource for guiding the heart and the spirit in an intimate journey toward God. I highly recommend this book, and Job's other resources as well. I plan to use this book for leading retreats in my ministry with college students. A five star resource.

This book is fantastic for every sort of clergy!
Each chapter deals with a specific issue that a Pastor/Priest/Rabbi/etc may be facing, such as people in the church trying to "define" a clergy's life. The chapter is then laid out with scripture readings, extra readings, and instructions on how and when to take time out for reflection, prayer, etc.
This book is a MUST for all clergy for their times of Spiritual Retreat.
