The book is too expensive, perhaps it is because of the use of some shinny papers to boost up the cost.
I find it very disorganized in how it presents the material.

Good overview of the brass instruments. Includes basic history, setup, and a list of repertoire from beginner to advanced player. Highly recommended as an introduction to brass instruments.
