Teachers and Homeschool Moms! This is an excellent book to use for teaching The Huckleberry Finn story/book. You are provided with the background knowledge, all assessments and the activities are student and Teacher friendly. Perfect for the beginning of the year lessons as you adjust and get back in the swing of things. I used it with both middle school level and 9th/10th grade students with total engagement from the students. <><

This review is from: A Guide for Using The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn in the Classroom (Paperback)
Ordered this book to use with my high school english class, and it's been so successful getting their interest that I use almost every page somewhere in the unit. We read and listen to the story, but then we do the auxiliary lessons that seem to make the whole novel more relevant - and is it ever in this day and age. Love this book and would recommend it over and over again.
