Good ideas for any classroom,

This guide is suitable for use with upper elementary to high school students. I adapted several of the activities for high school freshmen, including creating a reading response journal for them. I also used the quizzes and several other activities. I would recommend it for any teacher looking for interesting ways to teach "A Christmas Carol."

I used this guide to do a two-week unit study of Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" with my homeschooled 1st grader and 6th grader. My older child got more out of it, but it was easy to modify the activities to include her younger sister, too. Very interesting activities, wonderful way to teach not only literature but history and social awareness. We all enjoyed it.
