I used this children's novel as a literature group option. I used this teacher guide to give me ideas of what questions and projects the students could do. I used it with 5th grade students, but it could be used with 3rd (higher readers) and 4th grade students. The teacher guide series is good, although it isn't always first choice, but a useful choice.
