5.0 out of 5 stars A great instructional video, August 7, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Guide to Using New York State' [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Paul Muggleston, a native of Austrailia, did a fantastic job of explaining the basics of scuba instruction. As always, he does stress at least twice in this video that it is best and safest to enroll in a certification course, and use this video only as a reference guide. Paul uses very good underwater video demonstrations and both instructors and students to show each concept in the video. Paul also uses illustrations to dicuss the importance of not holding your breath using scuba gear. I thought that Paul was very knowledgeable, kind and very reassuring in his explanation of things. Overall, I thought that this is truly the best video on scuba diving, by far. I'm right now in the process of deciding when to enroll in an instructional course, and I certainly think that this video will come in helpful for me. I'm just as much hopeful that the instructor will be just as reassuring as Paul Muggleston was here. I might also want to point out that I viewed the same title of video as shown above, there is no specific mention of New York in this video.
