5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent resource in my second grade classroom, August 19, 2009
This review is from: A Guide for Using The Polar Express in the Classroom (Paperback)
I've used this resource to support my Polar Express unit for several years now. Polar Express is a beautifully written and illustrated book. This teacher's guide provides support with a variety of language arts concepts, including vocabulary, sequencing, comprehension, retelling, and oral reading fluency. My second graders perform the included readers' theater every year for parents, and they really seem to enjoy it. In short, if you're going to use The Polar Express in your classroom, this is an excellent resource for you.

This review is from: A Guide for Using The Polar Express in the Classroom (Paperback)
My daughter teaches first grade and I brought this guide for her for Christmas. She is very excited about using it in her class. There is so much information and really wonder ideas and crafts and lesson objectives. I would definately recommend this to anyone who works with children and wants to explore the Polar Express in more depth.
