Used this product to complement a reading unit I was doing in a fourth grade classroom.. There are a lot of activities that are cross curricular. I like the Quiz Time selections in this guide for review but they only ask basic recall questions. The vocabulary list is really great and they ideas for vocabulary enrichment are suitable for the grade level I was teaching. All in all, a good guide, but I was glad to have other supplementary papers/activities outside of this book. It wasn't exactly enough to put together an entire unit plan.

This product was very easy to follow and had wonderful ideas. The students loved the activities and like challenging each other with the questions that were used in the quiz.

This book has a lovely plot and story line, although it is not quite as interesting as the Richard ans Florence Atwater version. It has many new and unusual vocabulary words and is a great read for all ages. I reccomend this book to anyone who wants a quick witty read.
