As a first year teacher, I purchased the book to help me get some ideas to teach this book to my eighth graders. The vocab and quizzes included are pretty good, but some the activities were not helpful. Some of the activities include labeling the parts of a brain (like IT), numbering pictures of what Mrs. Whatsit's transformation looked like (which was really unhelpful), and creating a collage of experiences of a person who has traveled to another world. Others were more helpful. . . comparing Charles Wallace to typical 5-year-olds, some good journal ideas, and the quizzes aren't bad. I wasn't thrilled with this book, but at least I have something . . .

A Wrinkle In Tine, waas "FORCED READING IN JUNIOR HIGH", BUR I was so enthralled by it, I've never given it up. I am 34 years old, and I, from time to time read books that I grew up with, ie the hobbit, the blue dolphin and the plack pearl.
