Not too bad, for a beginner.,

I really liked the crossword puzzles at the end of each chapter to help you remember and reuse the words, but I thought it could have been organized more clearly. Still, very helpful.

I used this book in my vet tech program and found it to be WONDERFULLY easy to learn the meanings. It was the first time I was introduced to latin and other root words that are important for understanding human or animal terminology. For example: Poly mean "many", Gingiva- "gums", gastro- "Stomach", itis- "inflammation of".Not sure why the book has such poor reviews. It's organized well, in sections with an awesome glossary of medical terms in the back. I found it fun to learn from this book.
