I just received the cradle today and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this item. It is very sturdy and quite heavy for its size. I looked and looked for a good quality cradle for my daughter for Christmas and I have found what I was looking for. The assembly was simple - 12 screws was all it took to put it together. It rocks nicely and will not easily tip over. In the picture it looks a little top heavy but that is not the case. If you are looking for something that will last through the years this is for you.

I bought this item for a child care situation. It is sturdy and well built. It has provided many hours of fun for the children. I love it and it requires no batteries! Child power only!

We purchased this for our 2yr old daughter. It arrived on time and was in good condition. It was put together easily and seems very solid and the wood is great quality.
The only thing is that it says it comes with the comforter set but does not. It can without it and when we contacted Amazon and the seller we were told by the seller that it did not come with the comforter set. To our surprise though after submitting a report to amazon about this and having them investigate it the seller contacted me and advised that they would be refunding our whole purchase price but said we could keep the cradle due to the error.
I was very happy with the service I received from Amazon as well as the seller as they took care of this problem very quickly.

I was very pleased with the ease of assembly. The solid quality of the wood was very good. I can tell this will be something to be passed down to the grandchildren.

I received this product very quickly after I ordered it (and it was the week of Christmas!). It was easy to put together and made of solid materials. It was a gift for my first little granddaughter, and I think it'll be around for her granddaughter to use! I look forward to adding the high chair that goes with it when she gets a little older.

I was really looking forward to receiving this item after I ordered it. When I opened the box, it was so smelly, I had to quickly repack and put everything out in the garage. Any plastic cradle is less toxic than this item. I don't know who has been writing these reviews, but to help your decision, all side panels are made of cheap sheets of wood glued together. They are so thin, the glue is actually thicker than the wood sheets...that is probably why it smells so toxic. The end bits are hard wood, but are very roughly cut, and there is no finish on them. Mine is going to travel back to Amazon without being put together, so I have no idea how sturdy it would have been. Also, the wood is discolored and grey in some parts. Really, this cradle is a really bad deal especially for the price that it is. I hope the lady who bought it for her childcare center aired it out really well before letting kids play with it. I was close to rating this one star. I think this is one of those toys that should be investigated for toxicity. I am not sure about the seller, my review is only for the product itself. I would strongly recommend to look further before buying a wood doll cradle.
