This is a very handy and helpful book that will do wonders for new students like myself. I am currently reading the beginning chapters and I can already see why my flight instructor recommended it to me. It has plenty of illustrations and is very thorough. A recommended buy for sure.

The book is already a couple of years old - but still up to date (aviation doesn't move the same fast as our digital world ;-) Passed the test - so it must work :-) It's a bargain compared to the "new" version (which has pretty much the same contains).
Just on thing: It's a heavy book. If this is an issue for you then buy something which splits the topic over several books.
