5.0 out of 5 stars Guided Lessons for Students of the Alexander Technique, October 24, 2007
This review is from: Guided Lessons For Students of The Alexander Technique (Spiral-bound)
This book provides simple, clear and easy-to-follow instructions for "exercises" you can do to practice the Alexander Technique.

I am new to the technique and live in an area where it will be impossible to ever take professional lessons from a teacher. A physical therapist mentioned that the technique and art of relaxing muscles, the spine, and learning new habits would be beneficial for my neck and back pain. I first read the book "How you Stand, How You Move, and How You Live". That book, combined with the "Guided Lessons" have made it easy to teach myself as much as possible. It has been very beneficial in relieving my pain and changing my posture.
