I bought these looking for some lineless notebooks to take my notes on in class. I don't know why I was expecting full-sized notebooks from this purchase. Especially with "memo" in the title. Poor research on my part, so I'm not going to dock this product any stars for my careless oversight. Just beware that these are POCKET-SIZED NOTEBOOKS, and don't make my mistake, lol!

Basically this is a pack of four little pocket notebooks/memo pads. They're lineless and perforated, which is actually really cool for a pocket notebook! I use these for Army stuff so it makes it easy to share my notes/paper with my buddies. They are kind of unwieldy to hold in your hand and write in at the same time, because unlike spiral notepads, these pages are spine-bound, I've never tried folding the cover behind, and I am reluctant to do so, just because I don't want the binding to come loose. I think I'd like these notepads better if they were bound at the top instead of along the side margin, so I'm giving them 4 stars.

Overall it's a good product. I like the quality of the paper, too. It's not too flimsy or even as thin as typical recycled paper.

If you're not "committed" to notebooks like me, I recommended them. I have a pack of these that I bought last year that I'm still using. One of them is for taking notes on a newsletter I get every month related to what I've been studying in college. The other I use for my Wacom tablet shortcuts for my various apps. I haven't used the other ones yet, but I'm about to - Think I'm going to go the bullet journal approach mixed in with word (look them up! ;)).

Break the pages in before you use one. Open the book in the middle, and then fold back. Do it a few times in various other spots, and it won't come totally apart in the long run. Mine are better bounded at the top and middle than at the bottom. I don't worry too much though because these aren't meant to be for personal projects, they're just notebooks for today and tomorrow, and for throwing out later on when you're done.
