It is more expensive to order a 2 year subscription of guideposts to come on my Kindle than it is to order it directly from Guideposts and have it come to my mail box. If I order it for only a year from Amazon and to come to my kindle than its about the same. maybe a penny less, than if I order a years subscription from Guideposts.
I'm wondering why that is, since if I order guideposts from the publisher it involves paper and mailing and etc. More expense to get the actual magazine you'd think, wouldn't you? But instead it is actually cheaper to get this magazine in its paper form.
Why shouldnt Amazon subscribers get the guideposts magazine for cheaper when it comes to their kindle? No tree had to die. No one delivered it to my door. We should be seeing a big savings here but instead we are paying more for a 2 year subscription. Go figure???
If I order the Guideposts to be delivered by the post office to my door, I can actually pass it on to someone else when I finish reading it. Thats a much better deal I think.
Until Amazon can reduce their subscription cost I'll stick to the real thing.
