1:32 Scale. 16 1/2" wing span. These easy building kits contain die-cut balsa parts, plastic cowls and canopies, decals, plastic prop, wheels, tissue and a 24-page model building booklet. For ages 10 and up. The Stuka was specifically designed for a vertical bomb run, or as popularly known as "dive-bombing". The 87-B model was the most widely used of the Stuka's and first saw service during the 1939 Polish Campaign. In May 1940, it successfully lead the German invasion of France and the Low Countries but, later in the year, had to be withdrawn from battle when it suffered heavy losses at the hands of Britain's Royal Air Force during the air "blitz" of southern England. The nickname Stuka is an abbreviation of "Stukampfglugzeug"- the designation given this plane by the Immelmann Dive-bomber group

This product is quite cheap and will offer endless hours of fun. Everything you need will be included in the package.
Very quick delivery and non of the wood was damaged.

this kit...so you want to build a balsa kit...total fun until you want to paint it. you need to develop this skill before you try it on the kit you just built. guillow no longer has any paints.soo..when you go to the hobby store.you will find out you are on your own, a lost art .they will tell you to make a test set up a grid with balsa sticks and doped tissue ...and try to see what diffent paints do to it....do it or you will ruin your kit..if you followed guillows book and use wood glue as a dope. the tissue will sag with each painting....good luck, these kits are not for the faint of heart..the guy at our local hobby store started to buid one tossed it in the trash. went back to plastic.
