The concept of this record was to get independent and underground bands to cover music by more mainstream and contemporary pop bands. And let me tell you- it's so shocking to hear this! It's awesome! You'll wish Goat redid all Fall Out Boy songs after you hear his cover of "Sugar, We're Going Down". And for those of you used to Will Oldham/Palace/Bonnie "Prince" Billy or whatever you want to call him in this incarnation as opposed to his real style- you'll probably crack up like I did! There's synthesizers and everything as he pays "tribute" to Mariah Carey. Other highlights are Luna's cover of Paula Abdul's "Straight Up" and, my favorite, SUPERCHUNK covering DESTINY'S CHILD! LOL! Yeah, I pretty much hate anything on the radio and all these guys provide more accessible versions of pop songs for me. I highly recommend this awesome hilarious compilation =D

And to the guy who gave this one star, have fun with oral cancer that'll likely sprout in a few years =\
