I'm a BIG fan of Guilty Gaer so being able to play it for the pc is a serious treat for when I'm on the road. Its awesome in graphics and gameplay. You won't regret getting it:)

I recently purchased the PC download of Guilty Gear X2 Reload from GOG.com for only $6. And it was probably the best $6 I've spent on a game in a long time. In short: the game rocks!

The Guilty Gear series has been quietly making a name for itself among 2D fighting game franchises since its debut on the PS1, back in 1998. Several sequels and re-iterations been released on multiple platforms: PS1, PS2, PSP, PS3, XBox, 360, Wii and DS all have pretty good versions of Guilty Gear. The PC version was a long time coming, but boy it rocks. As of now, the PC version is via download only but that may change as its popularity ramps up.

PROS:
*LOW system requirements= 700MHz CPU, 512MB RAM, 32MB graphics/video card.
*Pick up & play action.
*SF2-ish controls which most gamers are familiar with.
*Works on XP, Vista, Windows 7 and even Linux (GOG users have tested GGX2R on Linux and it passed).
*Controls instantly map to a USB gamepad. Amazon has plenty of cheap PC USB gamepads floating around.
*Cheap! Only $6 (US dollars)!

CONS:
*Doesn't map well to mouse & keyboard...if at all! But, then again, playing a 2D game with mouse & keyboard sucks to begin with. That's why PC gamepads were invented in the first place! (laughs)
*Downloadable version is all that's available as of this review. And GOG is the only site carrying it as of this review.
