The Best Fighting OST Ever Made.,
By Azaziel "Be just or be dead.." (Puerto Rico) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Guilty Gear XX (Audio CD)
Guilty Gear XX delivers an outstanding sound in the fighting game genre. Although not like his felow companions (SNK & Capcom) they gave life to hard rock in fighting sequences making a beatiful chemistry, The producer (Daisuke Ishiwatri) who's also the voice of Sol Bad-Guy in the game is ultra talented. I hardly recomend this OST even if you are not into video games. You will really enjoy it.

Mastery of Metal,
This review is from: Guilty Gear XX (Audio CD)
Guilty Gear is an odd bit of music. Most people who know the name, know it only as a fighting game. But when it comes down to it, the music is what makes that game. This OST has some of the best music around. It is one of the few soundtracks that can be listened to whenever, and not just while playing the game. Most soundtracks aren't as good to listen too, due to shortness of music, or repetitive nature. This soundtrack is so diverse, that none of the songs sound alike. This adds greatly to the lasting appeal of each song. Now there are some standout songs (Suck A Sage, Keep Yourself Alive 2) but surprising one of the best is the all acoustic piano Walk In The Dust. It shows just the pure variety to the C/Ds.
When it comes right down to it, this is the best 25 dollars you can spend in music. It may seem steep at first, but this is a 2 C/D collection of 33 songs that are at least 3:00 long. You could go a lot worse for your money, and anyone should like this. Even if your not a fan of the game, if you like music at all, hunt this soundtrack down. It will be worth it.
