This is the best single book for the guinea pig owner. If you own a guinea pig, you owe it to yourself and the pig to get this book!. Well written, with good advice and adorable photographs.

This book is filled with all kinds of interesting and useful inforomation on guinea pigs. If you are a new owner and are interested in learning more about your pet this is the book to buy!

I've read many different pet books, mainly on dogs and rats. But I've also read a few on guinea pigs because 'm planing to purchase a few as pets pretty soon. I can tell you easily that this is the best pet book I've ever seen! It thoroughly explains all matters of guinea pig care and even includes a table for feeding amounts! That's one of the best things! You should definitly get this book! It's AWESOME! Bye!

I have been a guinea pig owner for a while now and having done hours or research online and with other books I bought this book hoping to learn more ,seeing as it had all 5 star reviews. It turns out this book is very out of date on proper guinea pig care and is filled with what is now considered wrong and misleading information on proper care for your cavy. While some of the information still stands to be true far too much of it is not.
I would not recommend this book to anyone.

I've bought a few books on guinea pigs to learn about my pets. If I got this one first, I would not have bought any others!
