Oh My Guinness!,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Guinness Book of World Records, 2004 (Hardcover)
I recently bought the Guinness World Records 2004. It was excellent. The book has great records inside. I opened the book for the first time at a random page and I was dazzled! It has everything in their you could think of! I would also recommend buying other Guinness` such as the `03 and `02 versions. This book comes with 1,000`s of new records that are such to amaze! I buy this book every year and I am never dissapointed. This would be the perfect gift to ask for or give for Christmas. Did you know that the Tallest Roller Coaster in the World is Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. It 420 ft. tall! I hope this review will convice you to buy it. The book is a little costly, but it is definently worth it!

I bought this book along with The Nice Guys Guide to Getting Girls and I am more than satisfied with both. Both books are easy to read and very interesting. The Guinness Book of World Records has always been one of my favorites. I love looking up the crazy and amusing facts that just amaze me. This book can be read and enjoyed by all kinds of readers. The pictures and stories are great. I spent many hours just flipping through this book...you definitely can't go wrong with this book.

An essential reference tool.,

Whilst some readers will always buy the latest edition of this book because they are interested in the largest, tallest, fastest or whatever, personally I have always found this book to be a first class reference source.
It was from the Guinness Book of records that I learned that the largest Turtle known to man was a giant Leatherback Turtle which (to my great surprise) was washed up on the shores of Ireland - and "not" some Caribbean country as one might expect. Of course, not all the records are repeated from one edition into the next or each book would be identical except for any new records achieved during the past 12 months. For this reason, the reader might need to collect a few editions of the book in order to have as good a collection of records as possible. Just a few loose thoughts really. NM

It had very interesting facts that i would have most likely never heard about. Also, the pictures where usually pretty cool, like the world's biggest tumor. EWWW, but thats not the point. Its the fact that there are so many things in this world that we never heard about that are most likely to be found in this book.

This review is from: Guinness Book of World Records, 2004 (Hardcover)
The hardback edition of this book is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen! As for the contents, well, they're exceptional. It covers world records in sports, human endurance, nature, movies, tv, music, human achievement, and more. Who is the oldest living person? Find out in this book. What is the fastest speed attained by a jet? Find out in this informative publication. Who really has had the most gold records by a single male performer? All you have to do is get this book, and you'll know. There's loads of colorful pictures, and on pages that are made of good stock. The book is a trivia buffs dream. Other books I would recommend for trivia buffs, are The World Almanac, and the ESPN Sports Almanac. All three are superb. If you want to know what the world records are for an array of topics, please get this insightful publication.

Best Record Book Ever,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Guinness Book of World Records, 2004 (Hardcover)
The guinness book of world records is a book that keeps you and me informed of the amaising yet fairly random things that men and women arround the world have achieved the best of. It kept me interrested for months and i always love to go back to them to see the different records. I truly believe that this is the best record book ever.
